Wider rear tires causing fender rub any fixes?

I just switched out the rear tires on my Impreza for a wider set of 245/35R18s to get better grip for my winter drives. Unfortunately, they rub when I've got passengers in the car. The front tires are still the standard 215/40R18s, so there aren't any issues up there. Has anyone found a good solution other than rolling the fenders?

I had the same problem with my 2016 Impreza Sport when I put 245/35R18s on the back last winter. The grip was great, but the tires rubbed when people sat in the back. I added small spacers to the rear springs (about 15mm), and that gave enough space so they didn't rub. It was a cheap fix and the ride still felt normal. Might be a good option!

Are you looking for a solution that avoids fender rolling, like adjusting suspension, adding spacers, or going with a slightly narrower tire, or do you just want advice on the best tire fit for mixed-width setups?
